The Mental Health and Substance Use Program provides a wide range of programs and services to assist persons and their family experiencing difficulties with mental health and/or substance use. Services vary from short-term assessment and treatment to long-term programs for those with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS) provides specialized treatment to people with the most severe and complex mental health and substance use disorders in British Columbia.
