Did you know that everybody has mental health? Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Good mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
We all need different support to stay mentally healthy. As we get older, our needs for mental wellness change too. Northern Health has resources to help you no matter where you are in life.

The terms Indigenous and Indigenous Peoples is used within this webpage as a form of inclusive language to collectively refer to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. We acknowledge that using inclusive terms may in some instances mask or only partially capture diversity and distinct realities within and between each group. The choice in terminology demonstrates awareness of, and respect for, distinctions-based and self-determined aspirations for health and wellness.
