The steel structure for the new Queen Charlotte/Haida Gwaii Hospital Project is starting to take shape. The structure is in place for the front of the facility as can be seen in the picture below. The new $50 million hospital and health centre is funded by the Province of B.C. and North West Regional Hospital District. The next step after the structure is in place is to finish the envelope, including the roof and exterior, before beginning work on the interior of the building.
